REMOLINOS SALT MINE
Located in the town of Remolinos (Zaragoza) the salt mine has been operated by Ibérica de Sales since 1932.
The extraction of rock salt, which is of high purity and involves a completely natural process, allows us to obtain a completely natural salt.
We maintain a millennia-old tradition and extract a mineral crystallized millions of years ago in contaminant-free saline waters.

Salinera de Cardona
CARDONA SALT MINE
Located in the town of Cardona (Barcelona) the “Les Salines” salt mine has been operated by Salinera de Cardona since 1993.
The extraction of rock salt in Cardona has been documented since Roman times, with evidence of open-pit mining dating back more than 6,000 years.
At Salinera de Cardona, our mission is to uphold the mining tradition in the Vila de Cardona and to ensure that our activities align with environmental requirements. The Les Salines mine is located in an area catalogued as PEIN (Plan of Areas of Natural Interest), which we are committed to conserving and enhancing.
For all these reasons, Salinera de Cardona collaborates closely with the municipality of Cardona, its institutions, and local entities to protect the natural space of Salinera de Cardona and to promote, incentivize, and energize local economic activity.

LA PALME SALT WORKS
Located in the Narbonnaise Natural Park by the Mediterranean, Salins de L’Aude Salt Mine forms part of Grupo Minersa and specializes in producing and marketing high-quality sea salt.
Our salt works plays a vital role in supporting biodiversity. The La Palme Lagoon, recognized as a Natura 2000 site of European interest, spans over 400 hectares and serves as a crucial habitat for numerous bird species, ensuring their long-term survival.
Through the natural processes of wind and sun, we produce high-quality salt that has been recognized for its purity since ancient times.
As custodians of this salt-making tradition, we continue a millennia-old tradition while preserving a unique landscape.
